Really Pretty Things..

Debbie Powell's work is so lovely, wonderful colours and commercial use of lino printing. Also her website is amazing.

Love the colours in Esme Winter's and the pretty geometric's. Her website is lovely too.

Mark Hearld

Here is a lovely video about Mark Hearld's Birds & Beasts Exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park can't wait to go and have a look around, I love his collages and his work with lino, also the gift shop is INCREDIBLE.

The Nimbus Factory

Absolutely LOVE these Christmas cards by The Nimbus Factory, the colours and the illustrations are so lovely, they have a great section about their designers on their website too.

Lovely Little Dragon

So this is the start of third year (aah!) and i'm sraight back on to the lino cutting already! My project is called 'Treasures from far away lands' and aims to encompass a sense of adventure as well as championing the exotic and a wonder of the unknown.

I've entered this guy into a wonderful competition held by the lovely fellows at Ooh Deer and what a beautiful cushion he makes too!

I have also given Pork the grumpy porcupine a shot at becoming a cushion too. He is an illustration from an old project and has been brought out of retirement for this competition so no wonder he is a mardy bum!

Wish them both the best of luck!

Everyone Loves a Kitkat

Here is a lovely little fellow from my 'Secrets Of Your Average Songbird' book. He is coming in handy for a little bit of inspiration for some designs for my current placement.

Secret 7"

I have been a busy bee recently, but big news is that I created a one-off 7" record sleeve for Secret 7" in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. You can buy it for just £40, although all the designs are secret so you'll have to work out which design is mine first! Lots of other lovely people have created sleeves too so if you have chance go and have a nosey at the exhibition. It opens at the Idea Generation Gallery in Shoreditch, London on Wednesday 18th April and runs until Sunday 22nd April. More info here.
